Fresno, California — April 5, 2026: The Durga Mata Mandir community gathered in a spirit of devotion and joy on Sunday evening to celebrate a special Baba Balak Nath Satsang, filling the temple with hymns, dance, and heartfelt prayers.

Devotees of all ages participated enthusiastically, singing traditional bhajans and kirtan, offering prayers to Baba Balak Nath and Goddess Durga. The atmosphere was vibrant, devotional, and filled with spiritual energy as families came together to honor the divine.

Presiding over the evening, Priest Jatinder Kumar offered blessings to the congregation. After the prayers, he performed the sacred ritual of sprinkling holy water, symbolizing purification, protection, and divine grace for all attendees.

Following the spiritual program, the temple hosted a community feast (Langar), lovingly prepared and served to all devotees. Offerings and prasad were also distributed, allowing everyone to take home a token of the evening’s blessings.

Organizers shared that the event was meant to strengthen community bonds and provide a space for collective devotion, gratitude, and celebration of faith.

The Durga Mata Mandir continues to serve as a cultural and spiritual hub for the Fresno community, hosting regular devotional gatherings and festivals throughout the year.
